How Kumari AI credits work, what burns them, and how to check your balance
Credits are the currency of Kumari AI. Every action you take in the platform costs a certain number of credits depending on the type of task and the model or agent involved.
How Credits Are Burned
Not all tasks cost the same. Heavier tasks that use more compute, more tokens, or specialized agents cost more credits.

The exact credit cost for a response is shown after it completes, so you always know what was spent.
Generation Tasks Cost More
Image, video, and 3D generation are significantly more compute-intensive than text-based tasks and therefore cost considerably more credits.
- Image generation each image generated consumes a high credit amount, regardless of size or style
- Video generation video is the most resource-heavy output type; even short clips consume a large credit budget
- 3D generation 3D model generation is similarly intensive and is priced on par with video
If you're planning to generate a lot of media, a Custom Pack is the most cost-effective way to top up your credits.
Checking Your Credit Balance
Go to your account
Click your profile avatar in the bottom-left corner and select Account and Details.
Open the Account tab
Your current credit balance is shown at the top of the Billing section alongside your active plan.
Your balance is also visible in a compact form in the top-right header while you're in a conversation.
What Happens When You Run Out
When your credits hit zero, new messages will be paused. You'll see a prompt to either:
- Upgrade to Pro get a recurring monthly credit bundle
- Buy a Custom Pack top up your balance starting from $10
Existing conversations and your Media library remain accessible even with zero credits.
Do Credits Expire?
- Free plan credits do not expire, but are a one-time grant of 100 credits
- Pro plan credits reset each billing period; unused credits do not roll over
- Custom Pack credits do not expire and carry over indefinitely until used
