Everything you need to know to start using Kumari AI in minutes
Welcome to Kumari AI. This guide walks you through the essentials from creating your account to sending your first message.
Step 1 Create an Account
Sign up for free at kumari.ai. You can register with your email and password or continue with Google, GitHub, or Apple.
Every new account starts with 100 free credits no payment required.

Step 2 Verify Your Email
If you signed up with email, you'll receive a 6-digit OTP to verify your address before you can log in. Social signups (Google, GitHub, Apple) skip this step.

Step 3 Pick a Chat Mode
Once you're in, open a new conversation and choose how you want to work. Type / in the chat input to switch between modes:

| Compare | Send the same prompt to up to 4 LLMs and compare responses |
| Routing | Kumari AI picks the best model for your prompt automatically |
| Direct | You choose exactly which model responds |
| Agentic | Delegate to a specialized agent for complex tasks |
Not sure which to use? Start with Routing it handles model selection for you.
Step 4 Tag Models or Agents
Type @ in the chat input to tag a specific model or agent. In Direct mode this pins the model. In Agentic mode this selects the agent.
Step 5 Keep an Eye on Your Credits
Every task consumes credits. Your balance is always visible in the sidebar. When you run low, you can upgrade to Pro or buy a Custom Pack from $10.
